Shane Rhoades serves as Chair/Associate Professor for the Theatre and Musical Theatre Department at Viterbo University in the Conservatory for the Performing Arts.  He also serves as the Dance Minor Coordinator.  Shane directed and choreographed Viterbo' productions of CATS, A Chorus Line, Shout!, and Little Women.  He directed 42nd Street, Dance Kaleidoscope 2016, '19, '21, '23, and '25, and was the assistant director for Young Frankenstein.  He choreographed 9 to 5, Pippin, West Side Story, Oklahoma, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dancing at Lughnasa, and She Stoops to Conquer.  Shane was also the Co-Director for Viterbo's show choirs, Platinum Edition and Diamond Edition, and has been a clinician and judge for numerous show choir competitions around the country.  Shane made his Broadway debut in The Boy From Oz starring Hugh Jackman, and he was the Associate Choreographer for Broadway's How The Grinch Stole Christmas.   Off-Broadway he performed in FAME on 42nd St.  His national and international touring credits include A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Chicago, Pippin, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Grinch.  These shows provided Shane the opportunity to perform in all 50 states, Canada, Europe, and Japan.  Regionally, he has performed at Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Arena Stage, The Ordway, North Shore Music Theatre, St. Louis MUNY, Pittsburgh CLO, Sacramento Music Circus, Atlanta Theater of the Stars, Houston Theatre Under the Stars, and Stages St. Louis.
