Sarah is a Scenic and Properties Designer living in Minneapolis, where she has worked with The Guthrie Theater, Theater Mu, The MN Opera, Illusion Theater, Frank Theatre, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, and The Playwrights' Center. She spent 8 years in NYC working for such companies as Jerard Studio, Theater for the New City, Bergdorf Goodman, Pip's Island, and Bone Simple Designs. Favorite designs include PENNY CANDY and THE WOLVES (Dallas Theater Center); CONSTELLATIONS and THE LAST 5 YEARS (The Phoenix Theatre Company); WAITRESS (Lincoln Community Playhouse); JOE TURNER'S COME AND GONE, THE COLOR PURPLE, and BARBEQUE (The Black Theatre Troupe of Phoenix); WIZARD OF OZ, MAMMA MIA, ANNIE, and SENSE AND SENSIBILITY (Cape Fear Regional Theatre); THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE, BUG, and BABEL (The Constructivists). Sarah received her MFA in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University where designs included SPRING AWAKENING, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, IN THE BLOOD, EURYDICE, AND ALCINA. She feels incredibly lucky to spend her life creating art and is delighted to join the Viterbo University team.
