Ann Elise Schoenecker

is a distinguished soprano, music educator, and vocal pedagogy expert with an extensive national and international career. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and a Vocal Pedagogy Certificate from the University of Minnesota, along with certifications in Contemporary and Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy from Shenandoah Conservatory. Schoenecker's teaching career spans prestigious institutions such as the University of Minnesota, Luther College, the University of Missouri and currently Viterbo University, where she serves as professor of musical theatre. She has conducted masterclasses and workshops across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including engagements at the American Vocal Studio in Hong Kong, the Friedrichstadt Palast in Berlin and The Performing Arts Studios in Vienna. Her teaching expertise has been recognized with numerous grants, awards, and guest clinician invitations both nationally and internationally. As a performer, she has appeared on major stages such as Vienna's Wiener Urania Theatre, Los Angeles' Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and concert venues across the U.S. Her repertoire includes opera, art song, and contemporary works, with notable premieres and radio broadcasts.
